Double-layer Fire Resistant Glass
Grout-filled composite fire-resistant glass is a special type of glass composed of two layers of raw glass, bonded and sealed around the perimeter with glass strips or other types of edge spacers. A water-soluble fire-resistant liquid gel is injected into the cavity, which cures into a transparent gelatinous substance that bonds integrally with the glass, meeting the corresponding fire resistance rating.It is primarily used for fire-resistant doors and windows, partitions, building light wells, atriums, etc environments not exposed to direct sunlight.
